Faro, Machado y Teatro Angela Peralta

EL FARO
Se construyó durante el gobierno de Porfirio Díaz. Para los amantes del senderismo, observación de aves, flora, paisajes, aventura, fotografía y las caminatas ascendentes, El Faro es el lugar ideal para practicarlas. Nuestra recomendación es que lo hagan muy temprano por la mañana y vayan provistos de gorras, agua, tenis y ropa cómoda.


PLAZUELA MACHADO
Esta plaza fue construida en el año de 1837 y lleva el nombre de Juan Nepomuceno Machado, ciudadano Filipino, que donó el terreno para construir lo que ahora es la segunda plazuela mas antigua.


TEATRO ÁNGELA PERALTA
El histórico Teatro Ángela Peralta abrió sus puertas el 14 de febrero de 1874, aunque oficialmente fue inaugurado con el nombre de Teatro Rubio el 6 de febrero de 1881, cuando quedó totalmente terminado.
El Teatro Rubio inicia su decaimiento, llegando en 1925 a ser sede de funciones de box y de bailes carnavaleros.
Posteriormente este teatro da un giro y se convierte en cine, pero ya con el nombre de Ángela Peralta en 1943.

Catedral Basílica de la Inmaculada Concepción

Su edificación se detuvo un año después, se retomó en 1875 y se terminó en 1899. La patrona de la parroquia es la Purísima Concepción y obtuvo el título de Catedral Basílica en 1937. Su fachada es de influencia gótica y cuenta con tres naves con sus respectivos altares, siguiendo el estilo barroco

Square machado
This place was built in the year of 1837 and have the name of juan nepomuceno machado who was a Filipino citizen, who donated the land to build what is now known as the second oldest square in the city.


Ángela Peralta theater
The historic Angela Peralta theater opened its doors on February 14 of 1874, although officially was inaugurated with the name of Rubio theater on February 6 of 1881, when it was totally finished.
Rubio theater begins its decay, in the year 1925 hosted functions of boxing and carnival dances.
after, the theater was became in cinema with the name of angela peralta on 1949.
